LIVING OUT OF A BAG..

Over the last few months my travel schedule has been pretty insane. Enough so that I decided to ask for some "adult" luggage for my birthday coming up..... it was a tough decision because I really had my eye on this awesome Mignonne Gavigan necklace but decided turning 26 meant it was time to be a bit more practical with my needs versus wants..... this week at least ;)

After doing some research I feel in love with Bric's luggage... specifically the Safari Collection because it is the perfect combination of business appropriate and chic. I personally found a lot of the Tumi, Rimowa bags to be too masculine and buttoned up which was why I was drawn to the Bric's bags. I also got a Cargo Duffle which is perfect for short overnight trips or as a carry-on.

Cheers to traveling in style!

ROMPIN'

What is better than a fun long dress? A jumpsuit that looks like a dress.

When shopping for a spring wedding down in Palm Beach I was looking for a rehearsal dinner dress that was "beachy chic" when I ran into this beauty at the Rebecca Taylor friends and family sale. It was fate. I paired it with my go-to nude sandals (great heel height for those of you with boyfriends on the shorter side..) and was ready to rock!

Below are a few of my other favorite jumpsuit picks for all your summer party needs:

PILLOW TALK

A friend recently sent me a link to to a product called "Pillow Talk" which is a device, specifically a pillow, which connects long distance couples through their heartbeats while they sleep......wish I was kidding.

Even though I have decided to keep my heartbeats to myself, Pillow Talk did get me thinking about my own experience being in a long distance relationship.

For starters, I would be lying if I said its not hard. Randomly crying in public has occurred and pints of Ben & Jerry's have been eaten.... but it IS possible to make it work.
In fact, I have noticed that there are a lot of surprising benefits of being in a long distance relationship. For one, you feel like you have a home in two cities.... which also means you always have a trip to look forward to and new places to explore. So much room for activities!!!! Another plus is that you rarely have to choose between spending time with friends or your significant other.. ladies night??!? Most importantly, the time apart makes you appreciate your partner and value the time you do get to spend together.

Below are a few of my favorite gifts from Coordinates CollectionMaya Brenner, and Three Jane to remind you of that special someone, near or far!

SMOOTHIE TRAIN

I don't know about you, but this winter got me in a bit of a health slump. My pants are feeling a weeeeee bit tighter than usual. To be fair, I did start a new job in December out in CT so making time to workout while doing the reverse commute has been an adjustment. And then there was #Juno.

All excuses aside I have decided its time to clean up my act and have deemed April: Smoothie Month. I am going to try to have a smoothie for breakfast OR dinner everyday for the month of April--notice I picked a month with 30 days ;)
