PILLOW TALK

A friend recently sent me a link to to a product called "Pillow Talk" which is a device, specifically a pillow, which connects long distance couples through their heartbeats while they sleep......wish I was kidding.

Even though I have decided to keep my heartbeats to myself, Pillow Talk did get me thinking about my own experience being in a long distance relationship.

For starters, I would be lying if I said its not hard. Randomly crying in public has occurred and pints of Ben & Jerry's have been eaten.... but it IS possible to make it work.
In fact, I have noticed that there are a lot of surprising benefits of being in a long distance relationship. For one, you feel like you have a home in two cities.... which also means you always have a trip to look forward to and new places to explore. So much room for activities!!!! Another plus is that you rarely have to choose between spending time with friends or your significant other.. ladies night??!? Most importantly, the time apart makes you appreciate your partner and value the time you do get to spend together.

Below are a few of my favorite gifts from Coordinates CollectionMaya Brenner, and Three Jane to remind you of that special someone, near or far!
