OUT WITH THE OLD

Happy Monday and more importantly-- Happy SPRING!

Cheers to an extra hour of daylight, chambray outfits, and of course CADBURY EGGS

I spent the weekend vegging out (such a treat!!!!!) and actually went through my closet between episodes of Scandal and trips to my favorite cafe Mulberry and Vine for some #springcleaning.

I combed through my closet asking myself if I had worn this item within the last year and if I would wear it on a first date or interview, if the answer was no the item was tossed. At the end of the day, I netted out with three full garbage bags of clothes and brought them to Second Time Around in Chelsea where they will pay me for the items that sell and donate the rest. Making money AND being charitable. WIN WIN.

Now that I have all that new money coming in, I feel less guilty about checking out the Joie Friends & Family sale....... ENDS TODAY!!!!

Getting Loose at the Moose!

I don't know about you but this week has been dragging on my end... and its only Tuesday. Woof.

To powder through, I have been day dreaming about my recent trip out to Jackson Hole. This was my first time visiting the rustic cowboy town and I now understand why many refer to it as "The Big One". After only a few runs, I noticed a difference in the difficulty of the terrain on the mountain (90% of the trails are labeled Expert or Intermediate) and in level of skiers on that come to Jackson. These people are not messing around and this mountain should be on every expert skiers bucket list. In terms of après-ski the Mangy Moose is a crowd favorite and must after a long day on the slopes.

Downtown Jackson also has a lot to offer from shopping to fitness to spa services. If you want to do a day trip, Yellowstone National Park is only about two hours away by car and promises incredible views. As far as restaurants, I highly recommend having lunch with the locals at Sweetwater and Nora's Fish Creek Inn and saving one night for a fancier dinner at Snake River Grill. In terms of nightlife the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar cannot be skipped.

Thank you Jackson, I will be back!

Don't Cry for Me Argentina

In the spirit of #ThrowBackThursday I wanted to finally give you some highlights of my trip to Argentina this past Christmas. We spent 13 days in Argentina and kicked of the vacation in Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is capital of Argentina and known by many for its world class tango dancing, juicy steak, and delicious Malbec-- while we were only there for 48 hours we somehow managed to try all three. And YES, they are worth the hype.

We spent our days exploring the tree-lined avenues, French buildings, small cafes, and the famous La Recoleta Cemetery. On Christmas Eve we went to an authentic tango dinner show at Gala Tango which was arguably the best night of my Mom's life #dancingqueen.

While our visit was brief, I now understand why Buenos Aires is viewed as the Paris of the South and would add it to your travel bucket list.
¡Adiós!
